We are pleased to inform that the 2023 Course of the Latin American School of Human and Medical Genetics (ELAG) is confirmed to occur in-person from May 7th to May 13th , 2023 in Caxias do Sul, Brazil, after the interruption caused by the COVID pandemic.
This intensive course has lectures, short-courses, workshops, poster session, and many other activities, addressing the most important topics related to genetics and genomics. The program will be addressed by a faculty composed of top-rank investigators from Latin America, North America, and Europe.
ELAG welcomes applications from graduate students, young investigators, and professionals interested in the integration of Genomics to health sciences. A social program is planned to enhance interaction among faculty members and attendees and to foster collaborations.
The Event will provide a sponsorship to cover for part of the overall costs and the students will need to contribute US$375 (in addition to their travel expenses to Porto Alegre). All the other costs with transfer airport-hotel-airport, meals, and registration will be covered with the partial sponsorship.
Applications should be made online at www.elag.org.br until February 11th, 2023. The selected students will be contacted by February 17th, 2023 with further instructions.
